    DIY Yellow Jacket Bottle Trap

Good idea! Hubs had an even simpler solution - jam jar with tiny hole in lid, just small enough for a yellowjacket (wasp) to squeeze through and a nice sweet-smelling solution in bottom, maybe jam and water, can't remember what he used now.You certainly had success with yours - we had similar, I felt almost guilty about ending so many little lives but they are a pest and not been stung yet so always fret might be allergic...

That's quite impressive, I wonder how much skin surface it takes off cos the dead skin does protect against uv a bit, take care. I just stay away from magnifying mirrors, quite scarey they are!I stopped using chemicals on skin - if don't know what they are they're not going on..cos all these things get absorbed and trickle round the bod doing who knows what.. Had a look at that irish hair and body wash, not for me. Pears soap isn't what it used to be but I can get away with using it, quite mild and no nasty side effects so far...

37 Unusual Uses for Lonely Socks

yep for sure men snore more than women? hubs kept a load of people awake on ferry years ago, it was overnighter and people had planned to sleep in the corridors to save money..no chance. He seems to be immune and cotton wool doesn't work cos the bedsprings vibrate with it. After many years went for separate rooms rather than manslaughter:)

Cor so many ideas here, should write a book!:) particularly liked the draught excluder and the idea of excluding small items from hoovering though I might use a dustpan and brush..I guess if having trouble getting down there..Some very pretty socks..must admit I get oddies and keep them in an old plant pot until they meet their match - though sometimes that never happens - odd huh?:)

Ah I love the cycle attachment..are they available on a well known website? I guess it could get a bit noisy if everyone had one... As someone who got hit by small child on a bike it could provide a good early warning system though..I still panic after a year and wish they all had little bells to gently alert you from behind!

Easy to make concrete bowls and planters...

Everybody spells something wrong but it does niggle me if in a newspaper or book! Not familiar with peeve in that context, can be peeved over here, I love the regional variations!Tree hugging, it has been known! I think it's meant to earth out negative energy or summat. Certainly nice to study them with wonderment..I saw what thought was indian bean tree earlier, then realised it was the lovely pink magnolia, the houses there are over a century old and I wonder about the tree now, fantastic shape. Tree bark on a plane always reminds me of a map or summat.
