This is an old article and things have changed. For example Miller no longer recommends pure tungsten balled for AC welding.
Is the side drawer part of the puzzle? From the pictures it looks like the side dowel pin is the only thing holding the main drawer in place.
It's amazing how clean your miters look. When I so much as look at plywood edges, much less drill or sand them, they start developing tear out.
Perfect finish - I never would have guessed those statues were printed.As much as I like rub'n'buff I am always frustrated by how much it smells and that it never really "dries". Typically I apply a clear coat to deal with that but that impacts the look.

That's a very nice & clean build!
Assembling this was cheaper than buying lawn mower? Trying to get the raw materials and have somebody cut them to size would be way more expensive here than buying the factory made item.

Beautiful design! Looking at the early Dremel work I am amazed by how flawless the final assembly is. My experience from assembling a small CNC mill was lots of issues with the bearings binding / getting stuck on the rods. I am surprised that was not a problem here.
Too uneven - killed my traces.This was with a MG Chemicals 1 oz copper photo resist board. Some areas with minimal resist did not get etched away, while some of the traces now have breaks in them. Back to the slow & reliable way...
