I am a severely disabled veteran living in a convalescent home. There's not a great deal of hope for me and I don't plan to be around very much longer. I have no family left and I am voluntarily isolated from my friends to prevent them from seeing how bad things are these days. Surfing the internet keeps me intellectually fulfilled and I really enjoy reading all and anything that is interesting and enlightening.
