Nice! I have a couple of suggestions: you could use an ATTiny for the battery monitor, as it would probably draw less power and would take up less space. You might also be able to use one for the track pad, again saving power. You could also add a power switch for the Arduino on the side, so you can disable it if you're not using it at all
I wouldn't say this is really like Google Glass, but if you added a voice assistant and could take pictures and video, it certainly would be. But for what your goal is, this is certainly a clever device, and if you keep working on it, I'm sure you can make it even better. Keep up the good work!
