How to Make a Realistic Faux Neon Sign - Super Bright!
Great instructable for something I'm kind of kicking myself for not already doing. I buy something similar to this at the local dept store for my kitty. She loves it, and it makes a mess, since the cardboard is flush with the edges. Doing it like this, with the extra box lip, would keep a lot of the scratched bits off my floor! Plus more opportunity to spice it up with a little of the nip.

Okay, well, the question wasn't "what part of this boot flexes," but "how does the treatment hold up under flexing."
I wonder if the Mod Podge/paper will crack across areas that flex, like the toe.

I'm sure it's not what you meant, but I just got a good chuckle out of envisioning a goat trotting around wearing bottlecap armor.

Love it! I've always wanted to make something like this, and now I have the roadmap. Faved and voted!
Fire Crackers - no matches needed
These are delicious, and I thought you might like to know how they are a few days later. I was the only one eating them, and I wasn't going to make it through a POUND of crackers in a day or two! So I put the sealed plastic container in which I'd mixed them in the fridge. After a couple of days, the crackers are, surprisingly, still crispy, but a lot of the flavor seems to have dissipated. I'm not sure how/why that happens, but they were less tangy and a bit less hot after a couple of days. Still delicious, still great with soup, but my recommendation is definitely eat them ASAP.
