I always use 45-degree (a light-grey, two-way connector).

The problem is, qualities needed in a (K'nex) sword are weight (it can't be 5lbs of sword), size (which contributes to weight), and stability. If it's long, it's heavy. If it's stable, it's usually way too heavy. There has got to be a medium line.

And one more thing: The sword needs to look (1 - like a sword), and (2 - cool!).

Actually, TheSensei's Katana (https://www.instructables.com/id/Knex-Katana-2/) is fits these standards mildly. It's not heavy, and it's long, but the stability could be worked on.

Despite what he said, it's reasonably stable. I wouldn't hack with it, but you can pull off some blade spins, and different cool moves. Just don't move vigorously.

I relate to this one specifically: Generally, I like to play down partial, near-complete monopolies, and hold the last card in my hand. To win, you must be the first player with 3 monopolies. You get 3 moves in one turn. Coincidence: I think not. I like to make all three monopolies in one turn, if at all possible.

For the central (horizontal) thruster, you can substitute three yellow connectors in succession.

True. However, a Bandura is a variation of a harp, so each string is one note that isn't changed, as opposed to other stringed instruments, where each one-note string can be held to be played higher. Harp-like instruments only play the initial note.

As I commented on your Gear Ratios 'Ible, I made a contraption that uses several large sheets of white and yellow connectors, each spaced one green rod apart, so 10 spacers between. On that grid you can add all sorts of gears. I have on of the sheets open near the bottom so the motor/driving gear has a place to come through.

It utilizes 3 14-tooth gears, each driving an 84-tooth gear.

I've made a contraption that spins at 1/5.68 RPM.

Ah! Nice! I'm thinking about doing an instructable on gears and how to use them. I don't have one of those green double-gears on hand, so I'll leave them out.
