You need to power the TTP223 with a LDO 5v voltage regulator. It's 3 pins, very easy to use. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/AMS1117-5-0-Step-Down-Voltage-Regulator-Module/dp/B078BCCDN1/ref=sr_1_9?hvadid=78340321331955&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=5v+ldo+regulator&qid=1572735548&sr=8-9 . Then, the output of the TTP223 should go to the gate of a BS170, like this: https://www.amazon.com/FAIRCHILD-SEMICONDUCTOR-Fairchild-Channel-MOSFET/dp/B0797PWYYS/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=n+mosfet+transistor&qid=1572735935&s=automotive&sr=1-3 . You'll want to use a load resistor with your 3 LED's in series, and, subtract 7.2 - (3 * forward_led_voltage) to find the remaining voltage that you'll then need to current limit with a resistor. (Or, see this article…
