I am a retired electronica-technician and now i am very interested in the new technology . I do have 4 grandkids (6/boy-8/girl-9/girl-13/girl years) and i want to help them, making electronic 'things', and hopefully they are getting alot of interests in "STEM" . This is a very good project for the students…

This is my robot. I did use the machine " Laser Master 2 ORTUR" . This lasercutter is working with a diode. The lasercut is very black and is, i think with a CO2-cutter less black. This was fun. Thank you mister LanceMakes for this project and your help about splitting the laser-file into 3 tiles. I did learn alot how to work with Inkscape, LaserGRLB and Lightburn. If anyone can tell me how to lasercut with less black...please tell me..... ;-) .......more of .that?...where can i find your other projects please?Grts from Guido in The Flanders Belgium.......

The whole piece is to big for my machine, i think. I try to ungroup and so ( with Inkscape) but i do not find it. Maybe it is not possible?Thank you Guido

Oh, i forgot one more thing to ask: on the rear window (white tile)(hardtop+rear+window.stl) there is a kind of "door handle" but i do not find the .stl-file. Is it possible please? Or maybe i did not look good enough...

Hi, JABA 3D and shockmade....i am making also your beautifull car "the Scout II".....almost printed out....lol.....then i will paint the parts....Then i will start to glue the car togetgher....Just one question for the moment: i do not find the file (is it a file?) with the label " ID Badge" for glueing it on the underside of the 'floor-part' .Did i mis it? If i print out the floor , it is flat and no round label with the name on it....it is a detail, but maybe you can tell me where to find.....If it is made, i will make some pictures.....and upload them.....Well , untill now this project is great....thanks for making this....Grts from Belgium The Flanders.....Guido Monstrey

I have to wait for parts for the other machine (Mac N' Chees) from you, so i did start the octopus-machine. i apolosize for my stupid questions about the 3mf-files...lol... . i did found how to split them all thanks to scimsabre; Next time i will look first into the Cura-program...sorry again...for misusing your time ......soon, i upload also some pictures.....

wow, scimsabre.....this is top!!!! I did ask gzumwalt for making .stl-files and it was not nescessary....i saw your printout and your comment about spliting 3mf-files and so....so i did a search...lol....but i did use the Cura 15.04.6 (only stl-files configured). So, i did download the latest Cura 4.04 i think , and i did a search how to split etc....thanks to you or i was stil asking gzumwalt stupid questions...lol....so, i now have stl-files of the splited 3mf-files.....and i learned alot .....thanks.....

This is a very wonderful project to make...…thank you Widgetwizard. I did need to correct some of my 3D-prints (especially the earth-moon-gears: they did not wanted to turn very well without blocking...…). I did print some tiles a second time in another way (slower) and then it was better. The planets were printed out in two pieces, and then glued together. I could not properly print the lower side, when it was printed in one piece.

  • Hi, here i am again......pin A0 and A1 or pin 10 and pin 11 : this is for the motor and L293D.On the schema there is A0 and A1 (Motor is written under), but in another schema with the arduino uno you use pin 10 and pin 11. What must i use, please.?i have started with the motor and the microphones and the L293D, but it does not turn..... :-(The sketch is loaded up correctly. i checked all my wires twice....i do something wrong but i do not know what...lol.......maybe i set the motor and the MEGA with the L293D up on a test-board....Or can you show another complete scheme please? (with all on it, wires etc...)Sorry for my questions.....

  • Hi , here i am again...lol.....I do have the sd-module, but it is another one then yours.I have 8 pins: in order: firstpinleft gnd-miso-sck-mosi-cs-5v-3v3-gnd .Yours is 6pins : miso-sck-ss-mosi-gnd-5v .I connect : miso to 52/sck to 50/mosi to 51/cs(is same as ss??)to 53/5v to 5v/3v3 to nc/gnd to gndIs this correct please? The resistance 470 ohm is on the schema between gnd and data. Should it be between Vcc and data ?

  • Hi Lindemann65, everything is oke with me and Twinky; i am still waiting for some parts (from ali express and banggood and gearrest...i takes alot of time for receiving them). In the meantime i did place the 'motor' with a little bit of difficults but now it turns good without blocking; (i needed some adjustments for placing the motor correct so it did not block)Now i am making the 'shield' : so far so good......i did first other things, and now, in parts, i constructing your twinky....soon i wiil take some picturesand show you.....thanks for your message......

  • I did make them....lol.....in 3 parts.....the base is in two pieces (i did have a malfunction in the middle of printing and made the secondhalf with lowering the module). The cabeza is in one piece (pla1.75mm; layerheight 2.5mm ; no support; nozzle 0.4mm). I did upload the software (cambio.tft) not with the micro-sd-card(i did have problems= no fat32 and so) but with connecting the screen with a "usb to ttl" shield to my pc. Then it was uploading. It works..... :-) . Now i am waiting for the other modules........i am enjoying myself....lol.....

  • I am printing "ensamblaje21-case-2_cabeza.stl" and "ensamblaje21-case-2_base-1.stl ".For 'case-2base-1' i use pla 1.75mm 0.4mm extruder-nozzle and layerheight 0.2mm and 'support-type' touching buildplate. This takes 72 houres. (is this correct please? this is long) For case-2 cabeza , do you use 'support" ? (takes without support 22 houres)

  • Thank you sir ! Can i just ask one more question please?Where do you place the "speakup click-module" in twinky? There is a kind of a grill on the "Cara_1.stl ", just under the rectangle-hole for the screen. Is this maybe the place for the microphone of the speakup click?I do have already 4 printout-tyles (black ones)....lol......(so, it goes well)In the sketch "Twinky_with_Comments" at line 63, there is : int //Meable = 13 .I do a 'verify' with this value, and i get an error: two or more data types in declaration of 'Angulo'If i take away the two slashes (// ) ( int Menable = 13 ) then it is oke....Is this important? Can it be that you mistype and the two slashes are not needed?(what does that command do?....just asking for learning more)I am a newbee in this…

(pins?)2.The speakup click, i have studyed alot, but still questions...lol...i have 7 pins :nr3 on 48(mega) / nr4 on 46(mega) / nr5 on 45(mega) / nr6 on 42(mega) / nr7 on 40(mega) / nr8 on 38(mega) / nr9 on 36 (mega) .
