Great job, thanks for sharing. Can you give an estimate on how much you spent for the cedar wood for this project?

I did that and didn’t like the junkyard visor, so I took the small homelink opener out of the junkyard visor, took my visor apart and installed the homelink in it, got new visor cloth And installed it on the visor and it looks like new

I am an electrical engineer and feel exactly the way you do about working with wood. It is so nice to see something finished that you make yourself.
We would all like to see a video and hear it, and please add the mods you did for those of us who might be brave enough to try it. A home made bow would be cool too. I have always wanted to learn to play the Violin. One that only I could hear with headphones and or amp would be perfect to play around with.

Nice job. Unless the physics definitions have changed since I was taught them 35 years ago or I remember wrong, speed is not a vector. Velocity and acceleration are both vectors but not speed. Speed is merely the change in distance over time without regard to direction. Velocity was defined as the change in speed over time (ds/dt) in a given direction, and a change in velocity or direction of a moving object with regard to time is the definition of acceleration (dv/dt).

I understand and would do the same, it just that like thingiverse, instructables is typically free to help others make a project.
So this is basically an ad, instead of sharing the files like most instructables. Beautiful work though.
Try experimenting with the led fake neon which is already diffused. Also since you have a white wall, have you tried facing your led strip towards the wall and bouncing the light off, 1 inch isn’t much but it might work, although shadows might be a problem. Perhaps you could hide the leds in the dark crater areas to minimize shadows and play around with different brightness levels in separate areas.

You sir are indeed a charlatan and I take great umbrage at your spreading vicious rumours forthwith as to the genealogy of the humble led device. Like many of your fellow Americans you insist on giving egregious credit to the thief and criminal Edison for discoveries he had no hand in. Anyone on the continent that is of proper breeding knows that Mssrs. Losev and Holonyak were the responsible parties involved with the discovery and fabrication of the luminous ethereal device (led). I therefore put forth demand that you contritiously scribe a retraction post haste or prepare yourselve to meet me on the field of honour.Your humble servant till hell hath frozen over, Sir Herbert.

Why not use one of the powered wheels with the compact electric hub instead? Also please post costs and links to parts. I am planning on doing this to a recumbent trike one of these days.
yes I would like to know this also.
This looks interesting, can you translate to English?
Yes Brilliant, I’ll be making this ASAP. You are only using the plastic housing from the switch, and if the sonoff is UL approved, you would probably have a pretty good case with the insurance. The chances are though if you had a fire it would be from an electrical short caused by the user, not sure if insurance covers that or not. So I don’t have to reinvent the wheel or get the wrong size, please put in a link to your switch or at least the dimensions

Would you be willing to do one for the Ryobi lithium 18v batteries.
Great Instructable and well written. I was wonder g though, why didn’t you just use a video camera or even a phone camera and video motion detect software? Would this not work?
Excellent design, and instructable, you even anticipated that others would want your great music selection.
What do you do for a living, awesome home or workspace in your video?
do you know what the accuracy of this system is. I want to build a motorized lawnmower and am trying to figure out a way to automate it.
Yeah I’ve had the same problem with text on 1080p televisions, laptops put out 1080p, but the screen resolution is higher and optimized for text. I know you could get a different lens for the projector for shorter throw, but I don’t think that would solve the resolution problem. I wonder how the expensive 4K projectors do? What was wrong with the laser projector?
which projector did you use, do you have any problem reading fine print from the computer or eye strain with it and what is the bulb life?
I still wonder at the magic of led lights and how we take them for granted. They are science fiction from my childhood. There is a company that takes an led light and powers it with a gravity generator that works with a bag of rocks so that people living in extreme poverty can have light and eliminate dangerous kerosene lanterns. I wish I was 10 years old now so I could see what wonders the next 50 years will bring. I do hope we figure out how to bring food, water, sanitation, basic medical needs and electricity to the poorest of the poor.
wow, I learned so much just from watching your video. Your skills are awesome. Please post more vids about any and every little thing you make.

well my grandma made the best bone steaks in the world. She got the pan hot enough this he oil was just beginning to smoke and then added the steak to sear it at high heat. Didn't flip it until the blood rose to the top, then spent the same amount of time cooking the previous side that was up, and you are done. Perfect medium rare with all the juices inside.
