I'm an author and freelance writer. I approach every new skill as if I were going to either teach it or write about it. The sing for my supper approach has served me well and most people find it really annoying that I possess the answers to random rhetorical questions... I'm married. I have three children. This year we started doing our best to not buy anything we can make... So far, so good.
