Thanks Rick!just no money right now to be spending on files, pandemic killed my little business... :-( Have been searching few places for Riddick files recently, must have missed CGTrader....but found it now! $20 certainly isn't bad....I should have mentioned resin printing though, much finer detail if the files are good.....lot less finishing work! Also thinking these would make good garden pieces as well.....Thanks for the time and suggestions, just fired off a message to your buddy now....CheerZJM
That is truly awesome work! By lucky coincidence I have just been re-watching the films over last few days....got a couple of 3D printers myself, but I've never been much good at creating the files.... :-( Any chance I can persuade you to share them? I'm thinking maybe smaller model scale, perhaps even try and combine them into a statue....I just don't have room for the full costume :-(
oh i love this! this should prove very handy for different projects i got planned.....but i'm also wondering, been hunting for a Game of Thrones 3D printable map for sometime...anybody know where I can get such a file...?

very very cool!
hithanks for what you said on fine grit sandpaper.....which seems to have disappeared now...i did try that TBH and i never had much look, not enough light coming out for me anyway....:-(
hithanks for this instructable but i have a related question....i have numerous LEDs powered by a 9 volt battery....trouble is it's draining the battery way too quickly....now part of the circuit i just added is a separate circuit board that makes the LEDs breath/ fade up/ fade down....now those LEDs did not light at all, although the others in the circuit did....until i changed the battery then all worked as it should.....so i can only conclude that the battery is draining too quickly on this circuit...having to change every couple of days on ittermittent use. i suspect it's a Q of soemthing i need to do with the switch...but only way to wire a switch is as a circuit breaker on the +ve wire....? i know i have had this problem on 3volt circuit before....just can't remember what i did to f…

awesome little project! just been looking on ebay though and all i can find or dual arc lighters...is that likely to cause a problem at all in building this, and would i be best using one arc or two as they're there.....?
I've been thinking on making a vibration table for some time...and i have lots of faulty hard drives lying about as i also build PCs!I was wondering has anybody tried this yet for resin casting?the other slight problem...i can't get past the first page on this? pressing the buttons just return it to page 1....I'll try again later but anybody else having this problem?
i have looked at arduino before but quite expensive for all the bits and i need a very tiny board to do this job...it's for a resin sculpture...other projects in mind, but not a lot of space to where i can mount the board.....and with the cost of arduino it's just not worth it anyway, thanks
laser printers still very pricey this sound of the pond though! u can get plenty cheap enough that aren't working, probably cuz they run out of toner...but it's the toner that is real pricey! i do actually need a colour one for aa different project, but there u go. and Hydrogen peroxide? dnt the PTB try to fit u up as some kind of freedom fighter/ terrorist if u try and buy that stuff now....? :-( i think i need to learn more about how to build custom circuits before spending any money for sure....
yeah I'm UK- did have a good hunt around couple of years back but could not find anyone. on ebay there are sellers from china that will sell exactly what i need for 99p....but that's for a 12volt supply and i need them to run off 3 volts....and i dnt know enough about electronics to change that....although i suspect the circuit board itself would do the job....just be a case of tinkering with the components...but i just dnt know enough! :-( they never taught me anything useful at school- i'm just self taught basically on what i do know! but i just looked on ebay again and there is somebody in the uk now who does do custom pcbs...so i've dropped them a line, see what they say...cheerZ!
what i've been thinking about is LCARS type star trek panels...so they're easily lit with LED strips, just white...and augmented with digital photoframes...and possibly in future raspberry Pi and proper computer screen.....but i have also been looking into lighting individual parts of the backlit film with coloured, flashing, flickering leds and the like...i know bit of a tangent but something like this would also look quite effective in a sci fi themed home cinema room if i ever get to build it....;-)
All useful to know, thanks! But it is beyond the means of us mere mortals who they really have the need to make something like this....I would have thought there would be a business somewhere by now where you can send a design and they'll post it back to you for reasonably cheap price? What I really been looking into at the moment is a circuit board for a breathing/ fade up/ fade down LED or LEDs, but tiny as possible as well running off 3 volts....I'm just posting here in case anybody knows how I can just order one?But this is awesome work, thanks for posting!
thanks! i just dnt have easy access to a laser printer though and it's those chemicals as well....dunno on cost but very ltd space and dog and small kids charging about, recipe for disaster- i know it's doable at a push but for my needs i think it also be lot cheaper to get somebody else to do it ;-)OSH sounds good...but i dnt think i need a 2 layer board...+ I'm UK also.... so gotta keep looking! ;-)
Excellent work! I've had plans for similar type projects and this will prove very useful if I ever get to it and/ or acquire enough wall space.....
This is all very handy information for the budding freedom fighters out there.....used to be a CD you could get online, but it's banned now, 'coz of the fascism y'know...several years inside minimum, legally, these days if u caught possessing such information :-(
awesome work, thank you for sharing!
I know this one a bit old....but I'm thinking about a Games of Thrones Map....can anybody help with that? ;-)
