Hello there, the plane flies well enough with the gyro, obviously it would have more control with the board that supports acro mode and if you want that, just put a different board instead of this one, it's really that simple, also that was not the point of this instructables but how to make a fully 3D printed low power lightweight airplane. Also, I'm not the first one to transform a mini quad like this. Thanks

Thanks, glad you liked it,To answer your question, I removed both interrupters, shorted the "E" and "+" pins on one side, and connected the transistor on the other side as shown in the scheme (it's hard to see clearly on the picture). I hope this helps you, it would be awesome to see your creation :D

Made it out of thin 3d printed sheet of plastic instead of paper :D
