Kind of like you said, they get warm....and sometimes hot. Although a great asthetic, probably not very safe. Is there a way to vary the led output according to the amount of data being transferred IO to the memory chip? Sandisk does this with theirs. Kinda cool.

Yes, I have use Amazon and AliExpress numerous times. Amazon when I'm in a hurry and AliExpress and Banggood when I have the time to research out the best deals and wait for delivery. Excellent prices but it takes time. Thanks for the info. Fun hobby, no doubt.

- Khovet1 commented on JohnW539's instructable Micro Farming: Growing Wheat in Your Backyard
Actually Bayer and Monsanto have nothing to do with wheat. There are no GMO wheats. They used hybrids which for the most part are produced by natural breeding programs.
View Instructable »I certainly congratulate you two for giving this a try. You have now made a connection the the origin of some of your food. But, Please, Please, Please do not call them wheat berries. They are not berries in any sense of the word. They are seeds, collectively called grain. I know the boutique cooking hobiests call them berries, but having grown up farming and having been involved in production ag all my life, berries just doesn't do it.Thanks,Ken

So you make no mention of the interior wall covering. What is it made from, what do you use to replace it, can you paint it, how is it held to the frame, etc. Seems this is a major part of an Airstream restoration. Can you comment please? The rest of the restoration is great. Lots of work! Thanks,

Hey, Congrats! I received my ticket last fall and haven't done much yet as far as equipment. But I did get the same radio you have at a hamfest close by. $25 with the programming cable. It's good enough to get started. I can listen and hit my closest repeater from inside my house. I, too, tested for the next level after passing my tech and missed by 2 questions! Really bummed me out, but, hey I still have ample opportunities to test again. Keep up the good work. Ken W4MCK

You have done well to first renovate the machine to work reliably and then to knit usable socks. Just a note; you can also make scarves, beanies, and mittens. I have 5 of these machines and acquired them in various states of condition. All, now work and they are a blast to use. Once fine tuned they are easy to use. Thanks for the info. I can use some of your pointers.
