this is redicolous
you should 1. let the paper from the backside on the bottom in a curve so you don't have a sharp edge, that will make your photos look much nicer. and 2. go to your camera settings and turn the light exposure all the way up. all the wrinkles in the paper should vanish. Also light from slightly above would look much better. But this is a really good start and a good idea

wow, really great Idea. But for me personally I would change two (or maybe three) things: 1. Make it motion activated so when you are near it it starts communicating as in the series. 2. I would cut out a Langer pice of wood under the bulbs so that the whole "Bulb" glows and would maybe would move the LEDs a little bit further away so the light diffuses more. And why where you using RGB Leds instead of single colored ones?
