Actually I'm used two different software to draw, makelangelo 3 and... phew, I forgot... Anyway, that was a good way to get into robotics. I had two reason to quit that project: I had issues with the pulley string. If it's went lower, it's became wobbly and can't draw any straight line. I'm tried to decrease the speed, but it took long time to finish anything... The other reason was my mom, the machine was in her way :D
I made the same, it's a good opportunity to understand how the steppers working and you can learn something from java-like programming ;)https://youtu.be/Lh7NrA_sp3M
Just a question: I would like to use it in the car, because I have only built-in radio and cd player. I have a pi zero, can this run on it?Thank!
SUCCESS! I MADE IT!!!!Oh wait...
According to LTC3780 psu, 5V.
I made the "MakelAngelo" version. This plotter is called "polargraph". But there's one thing, what I can't understand: Why do you need two Arduinos? Much easier with motor shield, that can control two stepper motor and a servo on one board. I'm used a cheap Chinese version of that shield, I had to use loads of thermal grease and coolers because of heating of the drivers.Btw nice project :)
