Digital Car Horn
No, I didn't watch the video...one shouldn't need to ;o)
Here's my tip - as someone who accidentally and very painfully added the tip of a finger to sliced tomatoes, ALWAYS use the proper holder when using a slicer. Don't use your bare hands like in the photo, no matter how clever you think you are - like I did :o(

Indian "curd" is what we in the West call yoghurt
OK. All I can say is that on any of my many trips to India, when a meal included curd, it seemed to almost always be what I would call yoghurt, i.e. fermented.
Curd is actually yoghurt

Did you know that the entire world uses metric except the USA, Nigeria and Bhutan?Ironically, Americans already use metric money without realising ;o)
I am a bit confused by why you felt the disclaimer was necessary. What part of this fun project is dangerous?

"Hear hear" on using the holder. If you aren't convinced I can send a photo of my thumb minutes a circular piece of skin (you seriously don't want to see that!).
It would be great to know how you trained the birds. The electronics I could fudge my way through, but I have no idea how to get birds to do that.
Great work. The only problem I can imagine is that it won't be long before there are obvious wear marks from the numbers moving back and forth along the same mark.

If you have an electric oven check if it has an element under the floor. If it does, crank the oven up to the highest temperature and cook the pizza on the floor on a tray or a stone.
A Software-Defined Radio on a Shoestring
Sorry...I was gently teasing. It should be "minutes" not "minuets" which is a type of dance :P
Any particular composed for the "20-45 minuets"? ;o)
I once went to a zoo that only had a single animal. A dog.It was a Shih Tzu ;o)
If you are in a fire brigade and use canvas lay-flat hoses, use this method after rolling them up.

It is "duct" tape, not duck tape ;o)

We have an electric fan forced oven that can cook with heat coming in through the fan or an alternative mode is from the top and bottom of the oven - the bottom element is under a metal panel. My pizzas had always been pretty ordinary using the fan-heat thing. Then one day I had an idea, I used the top and bottom mode instead and once the oven is really hot (turn up full) I put each pizza in (who can only make one?) and give them 5 minutes or so on the bottom during cooking. The crust comes out nice and crispy instead of a bit soft or soggy towards the middle.I finally feel as though I have nailed pizza!
FWIW in the rest of the world it would be 7 grams - that's what is in a packet of dried yeast. Perhaps you can update your ingredients ;o)
2 1/4 what of yeast? grams? teaspoons? tons?
Hear Hear. I am always puzzled by why people peel vegetables...any vegetable...yes, even pumpkin.
A microwave will do the job, but do not place the plastic container with honey in a microwave with the top sealed. Remember to open it or you will have a microwave with an interior coating of your now molten honey. Trust me on this :P
This 'ible is a great example on how to use humour if you are writing one of your own.
We made ghee recently (cooking the clarified butter for longer) and it has the most wonderful smell of bananas. Sounds weird but it is so much better (and cheaper) than the rubbish we have been buying for years.
Will this work on any size 1.5V battery e.g. D, C, AA, AAA?
Use a wood saw, not a hacksaw. They are intended for cutting metal.
Add lots of rosemary too!
Great build maaaaaaate. Nice to see some familiar Aussie words like "Bunnings", "arse" :o)
Great idea. But I doubt that in an "emergency situation" I would have a heat gun or a rotary tool handy ;o)
We are using a very similar system to monitor the water level of a local creek and report when it is threatening to flood. Also in Australia ;o) The BOM depth gauge was in the wrong place for our purposes and was washed away in Cyclone Debbie, we are doing a community sensor instead. Installing it today!
