I work in a hospital lab. We get tons of large, thick (1-2 inch) sheets of styrofoam all the time. Any supplies that has to be kept cold arrives in boxes insulated with this material (with dry ice inside) It just goes to the trash. I use it behind concrete block in my back yard. Holds back soil & allows for drainage. Ask someone working in a lab to save it for you.Put a large bare wire (like from a coat hanger) into a soldering gun. The heated wire will cut through styrofoam without the mess.
I have lots of brackets and hardware items that are zinc, or at least zinc plated. Would they work instead of tearing apart a battery?

I've covered warts with that 'liquid bandage' stuff. Warts disappeared over a few weeks. Easier to keep applied and less noticeable than duct tape.

That 'Slime' type of tire patch stuff is what you want to use here. It will not solidify, but will patch up a (garden usage) tire even with some dry rot. It fights corrosion to make a good seal to the rim, as well. It stays liquid inside the tire, continually patching any leaks as they develop. Don't use that expandable foam. It just crumbles eventually.
Sure. As Ebay listings come & go constantly, a direct link probably wouldn't last long. However try this....Type this into the Ebay search box...2Pcs 30cm 5050 SMD LED Strip Light Flexible 12VClick on 'BUY IT NOW', and sort by 'Price + Shipping: lowest first'I found the price has dropped since I last ordered. Now as low as $1.05 (for TWO strips, postage inc). For the adaptors, search for this...Truck Car Auto T10 LED Bulb Light Wire Harness Adapter 10 PcsThey are currently TEN for 99 cents. Good luck.
Pre-wired (with heat shrink reinforcement) 12 inch LED strips are available on Ebay. Two for $1.50 delivered.I also bought adaptors for the plug-in bulb receptacles. Simply plugs in and offers you 12volt wires to connect to. TEN! for 99 cents delivered. No need to cut the original wires, use paper clips, or mangle the original connectors in any way. They sell these for the festoon bulbs also.
Another option for the fusebox connection is something called an 'Add-A-Circuit' or 'fuse adapter tap' They can be had on Ebay for about $1 delivered. It simply plugs into any of the fuse slots in the fusebox. It has two fuse slots. One for the original fuse, and one (with wire pigtail) for the LEDs to connect to.No cutting or splicing of original wires and can easily be removed. This is important if your car is under warranty, as cutting the original wiring could void the warranty.
Critters like mice & chipmunks have very loose skin. They can use this to squeeze through coin sized holes. A dime sized hole is all a mouse needs.
