Sry I had typed a long reply but instructables lost it on posting.I refer you to LTGS geopolymers. The ancient way of making ceramics without firing.Geopolymer.orghttp://donkey32.proboards.com/thread/2070/karls-brick-cheap-geopolymer-refractory
Good Job. The naysayers are not aware of how strong your harness is.It looks strong and comfortable. Be sure to check for wear.Thankyou
You needn't use electricity.A heavy flywheel will buffer so that you can pedal at a steady speed.
H2O2 is alkali isn't it?
Black would be best for that, and latent heat capacity is what you want.A wall of bricks or even better black barrels full of water works great. You also benefit from the phase change of water resisting freezing in the greenhouse. Substitute the water for oil and you could taper the phase change to 20°or so
The dash of your car gets very hot when the sun is shining. Cds are made of polycarbonate which does well enough with UV that commercial greenhouses are made of it.
Not your idea tho http://marquardts.org/mindspring/mice/index.htm
Heat shrink pallet wrap would be even better and still very cheap. It is UV resistant you see.My only worry about using clingfilm is the large amount of waste plastic generated every year.
When the disk shatters you better be wearing a face shield.Make a steel disk to fit the grinder rather than using a fibre disk.Trust me. They aren't made for side pressure and they explode outwards at high speed. The cuts don't heal cause they are full of grit and it can easily take an eye out.
Silicone caulk could be used as a seal by running a bead along the groove, waiting for it to dry, then adding the window.Cheaper and softer than an O-ring. If squeezed with equal pressure and layed at even speed it should work very well.
Traiditionally ginger ale is made using a scoby a bit like water kefir.I often cut ginger into my water kefir fermentation and it makes a really traditional tasting ginger ale. If I add sugar to the secondary ferment (in the bottle) then it's ginger beer :D
Why not eat the roots too? Thanks :D
