The lense used weighs 130 grams + the camera which is 530 grams = 660 g = 1,5 lbs. The retired tripod I used was a bit unstable, so it moved when I adjusted the camera. Also, going up to >200 mm requires a motor and a rod that don't shake at all. My rod got a bit bent during storage which caused very uneven stars.
I don't know to be honest. I don't know if the printboard is designed to handle more batteries.
Interesting. Each pairs voltage shouldn't exceed 4.2 normally. Also, ifyour measurements are correct that means that the battery pack has a voltage of at least 25V which is quite unusual for a laptop battery.
You have to be careful that the batteries look completely healthy, no leaking etc otherwise it may be dangerous.About the adapter: it is safest to use a voltage that is just slightly higher than the battery voltage, but I used one that is much higher but I only put it on the battery a few seconds a time until it recharged.

Now, I'm no professor in batteries but if I were you I would dispose of the cells. Maybe you can change the cells only. Like, buy new 18650 batteries and change them. There are good instructables for that.
Looks awesome, thanks for sharing!
I didn't know such great thing existed, thanks for sharing. I did make some indentations in the plastic, but since the battery is in the laptop all the time, no one is going to see it.
This is good to know, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this valuable information. Yes, it is temporary fix, that will help the battery go for another half year or, hopefully, more. I am planning to replace the faulty cells (or maybe the entire package) with some others I have in an old laptop I'm not using. The battery there is surprisingly good.
I see, that's interesting. I'm glad the BMS is working that way; I would rather not buy a new house. :)

Nope, haven't tried.
I haven't really dared, my buckets are white and tend to produce quite a bit of algae. I don't have any fertilizer on hand but I think you can test that by letting the water with the fertilizer in it get wicked over into another empty bucket and see if it's the same colour or som fertilizer gets filtered away.

This is a really adorable house but as you mentioned one may want to use a bigger piece of cardboard.I really like how you made it from one single piece thus making it sturdier.I almost feel like making an adult sized cardboard house! Thanks for sharing!
