Hi,Thanks for your answer, sorry I didn't understood the transistor was the current limiter. I never see a such usage, very interesting. Isn't there any risk for the transistor? I thought the data-sheet current was a limit rather than a characteristic.
Hi,Can you explain why you don't need resistor for your emitter led?How do you set the current limit to not damage the led?
Thank you for your instructable,I tried it with exactly same components but unfortunately I got bad results. Is it possible to drive HB100 (or RCWL-0516) with the ADS1115 or directly with high sensitive inputs of ESP32? I want to do a speed radar with my HB100 but don't know how.
I tried to cut the pin 5 and to inject a pwm signal: - at 0 the current inside the led : 225mA - at 255 the current inside the led : 170mABut maybe there is a ground problem, I have to connect my ESP ground to the board ground. But I doesn't want to break anything, where should I take the ground on the board?
I tried pin 4 with no success (130mA between esp gnd and pin 4)
Hi,The items I bought are the same as your DX link.I tried to draw the scheme:
