Rhubarb is a problem for you, well I think I have a solution for you. Rhubarb has to have a well prepped bed if you want to grow it for many years. First you start by digging a trench three feet deep and three feet wide and as long as you want. then find a good source of horse manure and not that stuff you can buy. as you fill the trench back in you mix equal amounts of earth and manure then mix, or do it before. Keep mixing till you get to the top. Then mound up 18 inches of earth and plant your Rhubarb and water it well. Check it every day, if it needs watering water it. When you get a big rain the bed will settle and it should be level or close to it. Happy farming.

The toxins your tree picks up from the surface is only a fraction of your problem. What lurks below the surface is what you do not know about? How close to a Gas Station do you live? How close to a major storm drain do you live? What kind of businesses are there around you? Have you ever treated your lawn with pesticides? You have to ask yourself, is there any way that toxins within a mile from my house in the last 30 years been spilt or dumped? If you answered NO to all these, you might be ok.

I use 5 gallon metal cans and us a small heat resistant rope gasket to close them. The only woods I use are hardwoods, Cherry, Maple, Mesquite, Oak and clean hardwood pallets. I would never use pine or other softwoods, they do not burn as hot or as long.

Tennis Balls in a Bottle (How-to!)

Why did you puncture the tennis balls? I saw this done when I was A child on Mr. Wizard, it depends how old you are if you even knew who he was. He boiled the bottle, emptied it then put a Vaselined tennis ball on top and Quickly cooled the bottle, thump, it went into the bottle. He then washed off the tennis ball and let it dry. Tennis ball in a bottle.

What sub were you on and when? I was swapped for a Week in 1972 From the USS Cone, (Distroyer) to the USS Daniel Webster what a difference from seeing the sky at anytime I wanted to not seeing it for seven days. We made a deep dive I don't know how deep, although they put a can of coke in some kind of hatch then flooded it and pumped the water out. What can was left, a very small disc of aluminum. The pull top blew out and the can crushed flat. Wow.

Plasma Cutter From an Arc Lighter

    NO

Well then that makes a stick welder, a plasma stick welder. An air arc, a plasma air arc cutter. A spray arc, a plasma spray welder. A spot welder, a plasma a plasma spot welder. Do you want me to go on? I've been a welder for over forty years and used a plasma cutter when the unit was as big as four clothes washers, now you can carrier the units around in your hands, but you still need gas. Once the arc is struck the gas along with arc forms a plasma that is hot enough that it burns thru the metal and even glass if you have it sandwiched between to pieces of metal. It does it so quick that there is little to no heat build up in the metal and makes a fine line with very little slag. But, sorry to say, when I hit paper with it yesterday the paper burst into flames, even when I put it bet...

Plasma Cutter From an Arc Lighter

I'm truly sorry but to get a plasma arc you need an inert gas and an arc with special power pack, that inverts the electricity and ups the amperage. Do you want mine to examine?

  • It's Possible to Use the Angle Grinder As a Chainsaw

You know all you people bit-- and complain about his hack. Although I do not see anyone of you putting something up now or lately. What is it you only had one idea and it was a chainsaw and he beat you to it? I think it was a good hack and my saw works great, although mine is on a much larger grinder and I used an oilier from an old chainsaw and the teeth also. Nice hack Make it Extreme
