    $1 MTB mud guard

The pattern is great. Photos show the clearance is totally adequate. When used as a rear mud guard, the mud/grim protection for the pivots is exceptional. Note the lack of mud on the linkage. Mounting hole pattern can easily be modified to your specific frame design to maximize clearance. Holes can be replaced with tiny slits from a utility knife if you lack a way to make the holes.
