That mostly depends on the temperature. When you put it in the fridge you can get away with only feeding once a week. When you want a bread everyday, keep it on the counter (shade) and feed it every day.

Very nice work and completed with simple tools.my two cents would be to cover the holes of the ventilation up with some screen/cloth to prevent insects to get in.Also to cover the bottom wood with something that you can clean easily.

Nice project.I have done something similar as well, but I had to use magnetic valves as I was unable to find cheap water pumps. Can you link them? Two issues I ran into:* fast adjustment of the watering according to plant.I think the humidity sensor that you are using is also writing a digital output based on the variable resistor on the sensor board. Using that instead of the analog for triggering can give you better control on the different humidity needed by different plants.* over watering, slow response systemUsing such a system also for my tomatoes, which are in huge pots, I have a set amount of "pump" time (for 10 seconds the valves are open), then the cycle is in pause for 30 minutes so that the water can distribute. Also watering should not happen when there is too much …

When you got money to buy dehydrated dirt capsules, seeds are the least to worry. Also, pepper will have a very low sprout rate when not dried before. The downside is that you often get seeds that are not the actual fruit that you got the seeds from.(called grafting, like i graft my chili plants on sturdy pepper plants.)
Was about to say... pol-filter on the camera could have removed the reflections. But even the glimmer makes it more interesting!Awesome project!
