Tell us about yourself!
That's a good question. Honestly, we're not sure, we haven't tested it on AMD. It might be worth a try to see how it works with AMD. If you try, please let us know if it works or not. I'd be cruios to know the results. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The software requires a fast GPU to render the topographical lines and the flood effect quickly
As long as it has a powerful GPU and runs Linux, you are good to go.
In theory you should be able to use an AMD GPU, but it's not something we've tested.I'd recommend you try it out in a limited way with an AMD GPU before you commit to building a full sandbox, and see if it works.
ooh. I'm not sure running the sandbox in a virtual machine would work because it really needs direct access to the GPU hardware. But it definitely only runs on Linux.
Augmented Reality Sandbox
Hi AndreaGonz,A Ras Pi won't have enough graphics processing power to run the AR Sandbox. A fast NVIDIA GPU will work best. What options do you have and we can look into whether that'd run the sandbox for you.
Give us a call when you do, we'd love to help if you have any questions!
