Yes, that is a great idea. I'll be making one with an ESP32 soon and will share it.
Thanks for the prompts Drumstel, it is appreciated. Apologies for the very late reply. What I appreciate is that you are very specific in your feedback. Also, so great to see you made your own! Looks great!I hadn't realised buttons.h was an issue, you aren't alone in that as another person mentioned it, I'll sort that.
This is due to spacing. I couldn't work out a way of putting in all the words in 10 columns so I made it 11, but when its 11 then to be square you need 11 rows too. So it became 11x11. The bottom has hidden initials for entertainment.

Hi Jim,Which version are you using, one with RTC or particle photon? This seems like a high variance. With the RTC version, if the crystal was over heated when soldered it may do this. Other than that I can not think of what else would at the moment.

Hi PatrickK159, would be interested to see the generator. How would you go about converting the raw java into compiled inside your repo?

Uncels, would love to be able to make this sharable with everyone and offer it if people want it. Ok for this? I started translating here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IEPZtUsvqD0biAaCZ9cSQZjTqZIjl-3gnSEVZAHTEP0/edit?usp=sharing if keen I'll send an edit invite.

Yes you could have a dropper resistor like you mentioned. Alternatively, if you have an FTDI cable (like this one https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9718) you can adjust the code to allow brightness control using the Arduino software. Have you used this before? In the code you will find lines like: "pixels.Color(0,150,0)" this is telling the Red Green Blue LEDS in each what intensity. In this example it is 0 Red, 150 Green, 0 Blue. If we decrease the 150 to say 75 then brightness will also half. Max number is 254. Alternatively I get get a modified chip off to you. If you are going to mod the software I can work out the new code for you.

I've been running my own for months without such a drift. Interested to see where you read this Diehardluck? A second in 24hrs is typical. Possibly interference from an inadequate power supply in that report?. =) Yes, accuracy is important hey. There are a couple alternatives to the DS1307. I've been eyeing off the PCF8523 of late but my next version has it taken care off by the internet and an internal RTC. Its a bit more pricing but its cool factor makes up for it =)

A bit over a year, that is one of the main features I built in. The code progressively sends the bird to 'sleep' to get the extra life. Initially it checkes every 8 seconds the moisture, then after a few ok readings it checks in double the time... then double that. This stretches out the battery. The ATTINY85V also has an internal voltage sensor that I use to have an alternative tweet when it is at 2.2/2.4 odd volts. So you know when it is running out. Hope your project is going well Alejandro =) Thanks for the compliment and Q!

NICE WORK UNCELS!"over kwart" is quarter to? (google says it is 'about a quarter' :-) )From here, we need to step though each time to ensure it is correct. I notice that the 'five' is now in the top right. In the english version the first 'five' is used in combination with 'twenty' to be say: 'twenty to six.' as well as, 'twenty five to six.'. If you step though all times and see that they sound correct then I can do the code. Please also adjust the colour so it lines up with the english, this will allow me to translate.Ok?

Hi ts128900,Myriad Pro, here is the Illustrator file if you want to mod! View raw
View Instructable »Hi Uncels,You can translate and be the first! This is the Excel file: RawEach colour represents a word. There are a couple rules for making a face. 1. There is a first half and second half. The first has 'it is quarter, half, half past, twenty ... to. The second specifies time in 5 minute increments.2. You are allowed to connect words that aren't on at the same time.Let's do a first pass and see how it goes. Grab the file, add another one with translations, then we can step though it!
