Hey SardoC, 75 is a result of trial and error in the coding process. With this value you get more clear readings as of where there is more light, left or right. Try with different values, test it and post your thoughts.

16 Volts capacitors are fine. Any kind of generic servo, it doesn't really matters. Yes, of course you can use an Arduino Uno, it will work fine with the 9V battery. Arduino Uno can handle 5V to 12V input so it will be fine with the 9V battery. I used an Arduino Nano just to save same space inside my box.
