Indoor 3M plastic window coverings do work. However, one must cover the indoor windows before the north wind blows or moisture will be sealed inside the plastic!!!
Check out 3M indoor plastic window covering kits that include the 3M tape. Plop this stuff on ye'ol windows before Paul Bunyan farts a nord'easterner and it's a sure thing that ye 'ol windows won't cry for Babe the Blue Ox no more. One word of caution: use the 3M tape for your first winter. Then the next winter when ye decides to pluck a less expensive tape from ye' ol big box stores and use it, well we here in Minnesota know you'll be coming back to the good old 3M tape. Just for the mere fact that it is much easier to work with and won't fall off during 20 below zero temps. Any indoor mold issues can be addressed with a product called Concrobium Mold Control . If you use bleach indoors...send your children first to Tahiti for some nice warm and bleach free air. Bleach is detrimental to …
