I am a retired health care professional, with a life long interest in woodwork. I was taught the basics at school in the 1960's and taught myself fine woodworking techniques in the 1980's. I like to use hand tools as much as possible and am especially interested in wood shaping small animals, making solid wood, non-flying models of vintage sailplanes and aeroplanes and small trinket boxes.
