The origins of thong underwear could be tracked straight back to olden days, with some other countries adopting models in the outfit for functional and ceremonial uses. Very early examples include the loincloths worn by historical Egyptians and Greeks. However, modern thong as we know it started to consider shape from the twentieth century.
