Removed all the libraries and the board package but still no joy. I have to download the ESP8266-ping library from Github - is there one I should use or that you have found to work or am I doing something wrong? The rest of the ESP libraries come with the board files. Is there a separate Pinger.h file?
Hi Matt, I'm trying to do that but how do I un-install the libraries? I have tried going to Manage Libraries but it isn't obvious how to do this for me at least. I uninstalled Arduino so I could start from scratch but it seems to remember everything from the previous install so all the libraries are still there. I am not great at using Arduino but I'll keep plugging away at it, I'm sure there are tutorials on the web. Thanks for your help, I'll let you know how I get on.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The ESP8266-ping library is installed which is why I'm so confused. Checked again and still the same error when compiling.
ArClock - a Smart Display Wrapped in Real Wood
Hi Mat,Great instructable thanks. I have hit a problem compiling the code as it tells me that "Pinger.h no such file or directory", I searched Github and tried a random Ping file but that hasn't worked. Nobody else seems to have had this problem so I am confused as to what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
I love this project - well made and easily adapted to other shaped boxes. Could I use an Arduino Nano as a direct replacement? I have no experience of the Feather.
Hi, I've enjoyed this so far but can you tell me the difference between extrude and push/pull. I am used to using extrude in Inventor.
I have built this but I'm struggling to code the nano. I have had it running example code from adafruit and all the neopixels work beautifully but when I try to compile your code I get an error message for the chronodot library which I am sure I have installed correctly - any ideas? Bit frustrated as it looks great even without the lights!
Struggled a bit removing face - needed to make the target face bigger than source face then worked fine.
What a fantastic project. I have just bought a laser cutter and this will demo its benefits so well. My neo-pixels arrived today can't wait to start making - I didn't know that these existed before seeing this, really exciting!
