Make a Mini Shredder and Recycling 3d Printing Plastic
That's really cool! I wonder if you could get the best of both worlds (v1 & v2) by making the top removable so you can get at the LED housing?I do kind of prefer the more diffused look of v2, though.
If you're using wood, please remember to use some sort of stain/sealant so that it can stand up to the elements.

I cannot stress enough the importance of some good cutters. I thought I had at least one, but couldn't find it. I was impatient this weekend and decided to dig into a few old packs I've had sitting around for a month or so with nothing but a screwdriver. My hands got a bit mangled for the effort, but I've got about 30 cells for my effort. *two bandaged thumbs up*A couple things I realized are, perhaps, important and missing from this write-up:1. Best practice for removal of circuitry and spot-welded connectors.2. SUPER important and should be in any write-up on battery recovery: talk about the importance of the PVC wrap and replacement of the wrap if damaged.
Great write-up! You should consider adding Amazon referral link for products you recommend as I just picked up the Zanflare.
40 minutes at a simmer seems really long. I know when I hard-boil eggs, I don't let them simmer for more than 12-15 minutes else they get overdone.Do you not get a green halo around the yolk? Or find the eggs really hard to peel?
Nice work! I'm curious, where do you source these laptop batteries from?
