With 16X2 LCD you will have to update the code. You will have to update code to either show in turn TIME,DATE and the Device status or probably get rid of one or more of the other to allow Status only and perhaps with time.
Yh it’s possible and easy to add a WiFi module to connect through WiFi and control it.
Hi Hesham, sorry been abit busy. U can use digital pin 20 and 4. For arduino mega, if u using another board then SDA to SDA and SCL to SCL it use the analogue pins. If u take time to study the code u will find it in. Hope that helps. Just hit me up am free tonight so can help

The Row from keypad goes to pin 46, 47, 48 and 49 on the Arduino Digital pins and the Columns from keypad goes to pins 50, 51, 52 and 53 on the Arduino digital pin.

From the code, speaker pin is set to digital pin 35 and will only be activated when system triggered. Connecting it to pin 37 (green led pin) makes it active but out of sync with system. Try setting speaker pin to 37 and the green led to 35 and see if there’s a difference.
Oh wow!! I love ur design, nice work. The schematic u need to follow is the main one. There are two but the other is just for the Bluetooth lightening which probably not everyone needs. When all connections are rightly done pls take time to go through the code and have all libraries install. I’ll be here waiting to hear from u after that done and still not working, we will consider few more possibilities.

Hi, the switch in the circuit diagram is not button switch. It’s the magnetic door rid or also called magnetic door switch.

Hi ! yes will update this full project in a couple of weeks, with Dissolved oxygen sensor, pH sensor,turbidity sensor, Temp. sensor, infra-red camera for taking infrared image of the water surface to identify contaminant, SD card for storing the image.Using automotive o2 sensor: with that you should be aware that it has a very narrow band of sensitivity made to match the Stoichiometric point (1 Lamda) and hence you might not be able to calibrate it to work with steady state conditions. but all said there no harm in trying that out, cos u learn by trying to take a step. Firstly check if the right port has been selected frm the IDE.Secondly, I’ll come consider looking at the error status if it has to do with the library uploaded.Thirdly take time to go through the code carefully sometimes during edit just a letter can be deleted resulting in error messages. If all checks out I’ll advice to re-download the code again, upload the libraries and start over am sure that will work.Hope that helps
I used fritzing for designing those circuits, am sure you can re-design it in proteus similarly. give it a try! would have love to do that for you, but its gonna take some time due to my busy schedule. hit me up if you able to or else i might find some time to give it a shot for you.
Hi wats up with the camera?, for the Bluetooth to work u need to download Bluetooth app on playstore or iOS and it will connect to the Bluetooth model to allow u to control the lights. Any Arduino Bluetooth app will work jus fine.
The second is the main circuit. The first was primary test circuit for lcd operation check and the last circuit for the Bluetooth test. Thnks
Hi Raj, sorry for the delay in reply. Depending on the size of your house you will have to update the angle of rotation of the servo in the code to suit your house size and rotation.
Did you mean the servo keeps rotating non stop?

sorry I've been away for a while working on something.normally check if all doors closed tightly cause with little opening, that an open-circuit hence it cant be activated. turn system and check everything is sealed tight then power it back on. hope that helps. cheers!
1. Did you use a potentiometer for the LCD? if yes, adjusting it can help the display to project.2. Try making the connection to the arduino using power cable to wall socket instead of USB to computer. give it a shot and let me know

Yh the motor will rotate but since the model u built may not be exactly the same size as mine the servo will not get the exact position right unless u update the code. If you go through the code carefully u will see where that servo code is and the position I set was, 65, 145, 10 etc. This can be changed depending on how you want it but try playing with it and test it till u get the right angle needed. Most problem with display has to do with either the connection of the potentiometer. Try to reconnect again and be mindful of the keypad Row and column to the Arduino pins. Adjust the potentiometer to reduce brightness if need be. Hit me up if it works. Cheers

hi, I have redrawn a much simpler circuit u can try on a breadboard and it works great. Just follow each connection as shown accurately . For the function of each component, all the resistors act to reduce current and lower the voltage levels to each component for it to have exactly the right amount of current or voltage it needs to work with.
