Boy, this is what I call a parallel creation! Just have finished my rotten tangerine, in paper mache, as a prank for the rare visits I get from my grown-up kids (Did you see that rotten fruit forgotten on top the fridge? Dad is getting really old...)
Nice! And you can just draw, paint and cut the body pieces and use only the heads from photos, since full body photos in the right position may be hard to produce or find!
You can also wrap the photo all the way around the roll, using glue to add the parts (leaving the frame aside, in this case), leaving it opened on the top (to insert the tea lamp), turning it into a cylindrical image with glowing eyes - which can be placed over any straight surface.
Hi! Here in Brazil we must be very, very careful with mosquitos... So there are those micro jelly balls that grow in water (Chinese origin, I think), restraining mosquito proliferation. Just add it to the water, in the glass jars, so the jelly balls can float a little above the water line (when grown, which happens two or three hours after submersion), and plant the pothos on it. Additionally to protection and improved fixation of the plants, the colorful effect will be great!
You can also grow pothos inside fish bowls, together with live fishes... But you can't put fertilizer, so to not harm the fishes. Fishes dirt will fertilize the plants!
Ok, I use to glue a small rare-earth magnet laterally at one end of my blow guns (which are just metal or bamboo pipes), to easily pick up darts (which are made from nails or thin metal rods) that fall in the floor. It may look silly, but is very helpful.
Great! I've heard about paper beads before, but the eyelet trick and the embossing thing were awesome add-ons! Will make a komboloi...
