    Creating Your First Multi-touch Table

    This is an awesome and insanely detailed set of instructions! I'm currently planning to build something like it, but wanted to ask a few questions: How much pressure is required for this setup to register a touch? I ask because I'd like to be able to place other objects on the table, not just fingers. For example, place a ruler on the table for use as a straight edge in a drawing program or place game pieces on the table for a digital board game. Is your approach able to recognize lightweight objects like this? An alternative approach I'm considering is using computer vision to recognize fiducials on the underside of objects set on the screen. Could this be incorporated into this set up? Would you be willing to point me in the direction of more such resources that I could read (...
