I checked the links and you are right. The videos don´t download at all, but that does not have anything to do with the player you use. I´m sorry. I think about uploading them to Youtube, but I guess I need to make a new one with better "acting" :)So I changed the last step a little bit to describe it better what happens.

Quick calculation with prices in Euro (€), bought everything in germany, and the blower/impeller from china, hence the high import cost:Blower housing and impeller incl. shipping/taxes 400€Sheet metal (galvanized) 35€Pop rivets and sealant approx. 20€Motor 4kW (ebay used) 90€ (luck!!)Controller / soft start (ebay used), 60€ (luck!!) Some MDF/baltic birch plywood maybe 20 €2 Filter bags (cotton, which are NOT recommended because they clog too fast and are hard to clean) 60 €Sums up to around 685 € = 770,43 US $ Ducting and tools not included!Usually the motor and controller are much more expensive, but if you have luck and get them cheap and live in the USA where you can buy the Impeller from clearvue and build the housing yourself using anoth...
see more »sorry, forgot the "how long question".I´m not sure. It took me a week or so, but I did work only a few hours every day on it not 8h/day.If you are used to the pop rivet thing and have a good tool for it you can build it in a day or two. If you are experienced with welding and can weld thin sheet metal it will be even faster.
Sorry for the late answer. Maybe its obsolete, but I didn´t want to be rude at all!The furnace filters are too small and have no adequate filter area - and are not meant for wood dust. They will clog almost immediately or after a short time. You would need too many of them to have the same filter space as the bags or a real cartridge filter. For comparison: my (cotton) filter bags have a filter area of approx. 1,5 m² each (which is too low, too, 4 of them should be used at least). A medium sized filter cartridge can have up to 18 m² each (2 needed) because with an outer diameter of 500mm and an inner diameter of 380mm the zigzag folded filter material will add up much space the air can get through and it takes a while to clog them up.Until now I still use the filter bags ...
