Tell us about yourself!
The csv file is now redundant as the password algo was cracked.Read the soliforum posts as there are other options than the emutag now.
Actually, I beg to differ. The police do take bike cam footage and do prosecute drivers who they believe have come too close. If you end up reacting to the driver then you end up putting yourself at risk of prosecution - or just being deliberately rammed by the driver ...
A great project, but 2 comments.1) We live in the UK and it rains frequently - how waterproof is the set up?2) Why is the camera pointing backwards - as it doesn't show the vehicle when it is at it's closest?(or is that to ensure the number plate is seen?)I'm very tempted to build this as I cycle to work every day and this is unfortunately a far too common issue.
Ah - sorry, didn't see that section 8.
Yes, the EMUTAG still works (but is is an Arduino based solution) - although there are now better solutions.Check the soliforum website.
The soliforum site links are fine!Remember that I can now supply all the hardware and software - excluding the emutag
Your batteries may be flat - try putting new ones in.You'll get more answers on the soliforum pages than leaving comments here...
Yes, there are many happy users on the soliforum website.
Yes it does.
Yes, it will work for the wifi model -it works for all models that use the NTAG213 cards.

No, I have no plans to develop it for another platform. The battery issues aren't that bad really.....it's really a non-issue.Other tags cannot be used as they can't have their UID changed - and we need the corresponding password and PACK code.

There is no "urgency" when I say remove the emutag from the printer when not printing, it just drains the batteries quicker (not instantly) if the emutag is in the reader field. The emutag batteries do not get charged at all. When the emutag is not in the printer it does us battery power - but very little - check the emutag website. There are no constraints on letting the tag run to zero as the printer may try and lock it - fine - all you need to do is re-write it.Once the EMUTAG reads low/empty , you will need to change UID and start again. there is no workaround for most printers (only Jr with firmwares 2.2.0 and before)
You're correct up to the "Scan the daVinci tag" part. With the Emutag, you don't need to use your card.Look at the link to the soliforum thread and on Page 1 of the thread there is a link to a CSV file. This contains card UIDs, Passwords and PACK codes.Using my .Net app, you put these numbers on the Emutag - then get printing.
I have re-uploaded it - sorry about that!
Thanks for the info, I'll clarify it in the details.
Yes, but read the EMUTAG page.
Yes, it should work for all da Vinci Jr firmwares
Yes, it shoudl work for 2.2.7 if you get another UID, Password and PACK to use.Set up the EMUTAG as this "new card" and it will work.
