Converting a TowerPro MG995 Servo to a Linear Actuator
It is possible (and may even simplify the build), however the MG995's shaft runs at around ~60RPM which is extremely slow for linear actuators. If you wish, you can use any different combination of matching gears or even fashion your own using a CNC milling machine.
It is possible. This istructable is more directed at people who already have a servo lying around they don't need, and don't want to modify a useful tool.
