Incremental Sheet Forming - an Introduction

From everything I've read the recommended spindle settings are in the 0-800RPM range, which isn't very fast however wanted to start slow and eventually bring a few more efficiencies to the process in terms of feed rates and step down distances. It makes sense that the friction caused from having the spindle on would help with the forming, I'll have to give it a try.I haven't formed against anything else apart from air and PLA yet. I thought using foam as a buck might cause the foam to deform too much and wear down over the long term.
