As many here, I was also forced to start working from home during the quarantine and woodworking was/is my stress relief. I was able to procure a proper desk to set up a home office, but I still missed being able to stand up every so often (I have an adjustable desk at my office). This project gave me something to focus on and solved a problem at the same time. You'll notice there are no leg supports as I used nailed-in threaded inserts for the M6 screws, so everything stays in place only by friction and tension. All pine wood, the surfacetop is plywood which I rounded over with a router. Stained and finished with three layers of polyurethane. Founds out it works as a foot rest as well (not that I plan on using it for that!).
Great instructable! I actually made three baskets and feet for the legs to put it in the kitchen. Works great!

Thanks for the Instructable. It was all put together from scraps I had lying around. The positioning of the bottle cutter did indeed prove to be the trickiest, but I managed to find a position that worked for most bottles and then I fixed it in place by using two different sized washers. Cheers!
Thanks for the instructable! Managed to make it with nothing but scraps that I had lying around. Indeed, fixing the cutting wheel was the most challenging part, but I managed to get around it by fixing it with two different sized washers. Cheers!
Thanks for the Instructable. As you mentioned, setting the cutter was the most complicated part, but I managed to fish it in the end with a couple of washers of different sizes. It's also made out entirely from scrap boards I had lying around, so that helps! I tried it out yesterday and managed to cut almost straight around the circumference. Cheers!!
