I was happy to find that you've made an Instructable. Hopefully this will be what I need to move onto Fruitbox from DWJukebox. I really, really want to make a Jukebox-ish device for in my vintage radio collection room, where many of the radios have a Bluetooth device added. The challenge (other than getting up to speed on processors and files) will be to make a device that looks appropriate among radios from the late 1920's through the 1970's. I know I can create a good skin, but I'm not sure how to house the monitor, processor, buttons, bluetooth card. Half the fun is that, though.

This is incredibly perfect, and incredibly simple, and will obviously work better than anything I was just looking at on Amazon. Heading to the junk drawer for our velcro.....

Here's a coincidence. I saw the same radio in an antique store in Dallas, Texas. I love the design of that bakelite cabinet. The difference is my mind went straight to that round hole and how nice a new Amazon 3rd Generation Echo Dots would sound and how its size is just right for that speaker hole. Yep, it's in there. I added an LED circuit powered by the Dot's power supply. I've got it all wired to the power switch of the radio, but I tend to leave it on. I fall asleep nightly listening to it by saying this like "Alexa, play Zoomer Radio Station", "Alexa, set a sleep timer for 30 minutes", and "Alexa, turn off the bedroom light". While I collect vintage radios and have several that are fully functional, I think the cabinet designers of this radio …
