My pool was the same state as yours this year, When I removed the cover. All I did was add algicide, and shock. Then put the pool vacuum up side down on the deep end of the pool, and turned on the pump. Like you; I did a couple of back washes. Within 2 days the water was 90% clear. I'm lazy and came up with this idea while sipping on a few cold ones. I like your idea and will try it out.Nice Ible.
I've help build many Baileys from '65 to '74. It's back breaking work. There is nothing light on that bridge. I was in a Bailey Bridge Co while in the US Army. The most important part of the build is establishing a center line, and laying out the rocking and plane rollers. After that it's all bull work. Been there done it, don't want the T-Shirt.
You got me thinking. Maybe I'll put a motor on mine. Thanx for the ideas.
