You're welcome. Great Santa, he'd look cute in Delft blues.
Make your mold dimensions larger, as castings can make your mold pieces stick together. Use a rubber mallet to knock them loose. Having a larger mold will let you safely do so sans damage. Nice tutorial, though.

Wow, impressive! I'm bookmarking this, see if I can't talk hubby into making me one. (Or helping me do it, lol.)
I love this! It takes me back to the early 70's, when I was in elementary school. Every Friday, armed with a dime apiece, our teacher would line us up to walk to the teacher's lounge, where we would each get an ice-cold Coca-Cola. Talk about a treat!!! This is the very same machine we bought our Cokes from, and we thought we were so special!!! Thanx for a great Instructable, and the trip down memory lane.
Thanx for the safety reminder, I haven't drilled any abalone yet, but everything I read about it pointed toward the same conclusion. I'm not sure I'll do any drilling or cutting of it, due to risks involved. However, one never knows!

I am having the same problem. Using Windows 10, Chrome, on my laptop. I've saved, and attempted to edit, to no avail. The pop-up box simply is too low, and I can't get down to the bottom to add any pix.
