It's a great looking pouch, cheers for showing us how to make it :). One thing tho, it is not good for holding tobacco because it will dry out and lose it's aroma, and it will leak tobacco flakes all over the place. You need an air-tight seal to carry tobacco around and have it taste good and not make a mess all over the place. On the other hand, I think some tobacco tins will fit just nice in the pouch and make a wonderfull kit for carrying around if made a tad bigger.Cheers, Vladimir!

The amplifier is a lepy 2020a+, as i said, thanks to you, I discovered this amp! The amp drives a pair of old (10years or so) sony speakers that came with a stereo system. I gutted them for the cones and tweeters, replaced the caps, and build new enclosures for them (the boombox). The amp itself is not 20w rms / channel in 8 ohm load but trust me when I say it's power is enough for a party. With a pair of boston acoustics speakers it is actualy quite good, not hifi, but definetly above average. The system sounds good to me 8/10.There is room for improvement, but i'll leave that to another project.
It is finaly rdy, but unfortunetly i had to remove a switch from it because it caused interference with the amp. It turned out just the way i imagined it first.I used some coarse hemp cloth for the front and back, some kind of elstic denim for the rest of it, and some rope. the fabric and rope was glued with contact adhesive, the quick drying time ( 3 minute ).i used wax to seal the fabric, just rub it in from a stick, candle, etc. and melt it in the fabric with a hairdryer.
Very well layed out instructibles, thanks to you I discovered this fantastic little amp, it saved me a whole lot of soldering. initially I wanted to build a lm3886 gainclone to power this boombox, but decided on this amp.I still need to finish the outside and wire the vu-meters, but it is almost there.I used 8mm plywood for everything, some woodglue, epoxy and some pipe(pvc) for the speaker holes.

i did that once for a audio amplifier case with a birthday candle and a hairdryer, it worked wonders!
