I have tried different recipes for lox. In the end I liked them all. Yours is new to me and sounds great. I will definitely give it a whirl! Thank you for taking the time posting.

Don't go backwards. Go forwards and you can make any amount the "100 percent" its well explained.
I made this trap and cut the opening a little bigger, (cutting off the bottleneck) because I wanted to catch chipmunks, which are bigger, outside. This did not work, because the bottle lost its body strength because of my cutting. The whole thing became floppy. I'm just mentioning this to possibly safe somebody else with the same idea some time.
Just downloaded Google Photo scan. It takes four pics (with your Phone) to avoid any "shiny spots" works good!EG

Bought readily in the store next to milk and heavy cream. It is half milk and half cream. People use it mostly in their coffee. Not expensive. I used to use heavy cream for this. More$$$
