What CAD software was used?
I totally agree. I have two 'actual' Nixie clocks in my house that I have built. With as much effort as you put into this, you should at least have an option to switch the color to 'glowing orange'. I'm fine if you also want blue/purple (to be different/modern) - but you really need 'glowing orange'.Other than that - excellent work!I wish I had easy access to a laser cutter - I would probably build one to add to one more room in my house (in addition to the two 'real' Nixies.

I would have used a rubber cog belt instead of a chain. Did you already have the small chain and sprockets?

Excellent project. Something fun, that's not too hard to build. It would be great if you included a completed photo with it standing still.
Excellent!!! My question is, what made you decide to build it? Also, what shop do you have available?
Thank you for the straightforward project. What has your general luck been with the HC-SR04? I have three and only one works reliably. Of the other two, one reports values all over the place and the other works okay for about 10 seconds and then just reports 0 until you tap it with your finger.I know these are pretty inexpensive devices, but not so much if you have to buy three to get one that works.Just trying to figure out if other people have had the same experience, or should I buy another batch and see how they work?
