View Instructable »Since Octofet is an assembly of power switchers and a shift register, the closest replacement is a set of simple power MOSFET transistors. You can also use a relay, but it is inefficient.

I made this just for an experiment. Unfortunately I haven’t tried different key pressing streight, but I think it can be done using grayscale shades or special marks before the note, in this case a more accurate sensors and thoughtful software is needed. Also I think the use of old good mechanics is the best way =)

When crossing the line pid-controller does the its job. The direction of movement depends of the intersection angle.If the lines are at the right angles robot continues move forward.if they are not then the robot aims at a line with a lower angle to the route.By changing the angle you can make intersections or merge different lines in one. Some errors can occur due to line quality but It really works. Indeed, the video do not illustrates this moment, my bad.

Turns are performed by rotating the tail around the axis of the fuselage. For this there is a servo on the tail. Another servo is used to control attitude.

Hey!The gearbox was altered many times. So, such ratios are consequences of the first versions.In fact, the aliexpress gears are of rather poor quality: soft bronze and weak thread. Hardened black gears were literally the last in dozens of stores.
View Instructable »Hi and thank you!I don't think that's gonna happen. The bird is quite simple in comparison with my other projects, for example, hexapod with AI slam navigation. Explicit instructions for such projects take a lot of time, but maybe they will appear here.

You're right. I think the best solution is CNC engraving followed by laser cutting.

Hi people! I rarely appear here, so I leave a post in the comments. It was a one-time project and the bird was made as an experiment. For me, this project is not relevant, I am not engaged in it, and there was no goal to continue working. Moreover, most likely since then all the original files have been lost.
