They come in one long length (normally) and you cut them to suit. However - you can usually only safely cut them every 4th LED normally - if you look at the close up on this picture you can see a cluster of 4 dots in a square on the strip - between those dots is a cut line and it's best to cut on those lines. Also if they're on a grab handle it's probably worth getting the waterproof ones

This is mine - 20Ah battery which was an almost perfect fit for a 30Cal box. It's got an analogue voltmeter on one side, and a series of inlet/outlets based on the various types of 12V plugs that I use (powercon, cigarette outlet & aviation plug).Compact and works a treat :)

Despite the fact that my other half would hate this and she'd veto it in a heartbeat, I'm favouriting it because I'd make one if I were allowed to make lighting / lampshade decisions.Also - you could possibly pick up a used brake disc for free from a garage and reduce the cost of the build.

This is mine: frame's made from some pallet offcuts that support a tube with the cable running up it.Needs a coat of paint and a more cunning way of changing the elevation than "a wood chock" - but it worksWorth mentioning that it doesn't half bang when it launches - my other half came belting out of the house when I first fired it wondering what I'd done. The video seems to suggest a nice pedestrian "phhutt" as it fires... It wasn't. :o)

I'd echo this - youtube search is bobbins and while it might be region specific, I can't find it either. Which is a shame as I'd like to try this

This one's my effort. Made it for my mate and his wife who are about to become parents for the first time. The sides are biscuit jointed and glues, and because there was a bit of flex on the sides (even after gluing and letting it set) - and because it would have a live child in it so wasn't leaving anything to chance - I used 5mm ply sheets glued and nailed to the pallet wood to stiffen itTheir dog may be eyeing up the crib as a bed / viewpoint in the longer term - though as he's a shortarse French Bulldog he'll need a ramp for now :)
