mikeyj110 it should work, as the multi-out for the SNES and N^$ were the same. It was only the internal video output of the systems that functioned differently. good luck!
Happy to help! This may sound silly, but is there a cartridge in it? The Nintendo logo only appears when there is a game cartridge in the slot.
Interesting....I will test that out. If testing shows you to be correct, I will edit this Instructable. Thanks!

Unkess you are buyin 100% alcohol, will contain water. The difference with isopropyl alcohol is that it contains either purified or distilled water, both of which are safe to use for this application.
Thank you! The warning on the back just states to use the NES cartridge cleaning system, but they themselves are collectors items now. Alcohol is safe to use with electronics. Vinegar can actually be used as well, but I prefer alcohol because ot dries much faster and does not have that smell.
