I agree with doncrush. I also teach college engineering labs. We will always teach US customary units along side metric. Students need a gut feel to know if 2.54 cm is closer to 1 inch or a foot. I would be interested in a copy of your ruler file and more details how you set up adobe illustrator to print to your universal laser.
Thanks for the fast reply. I'd like SVG and AI. We use CorelDraw with our 60 watt universal laser. I've been trying to move to autoCAD but have been having problems setting the line width so it doesn't treat the line as a raster image. Since we have a site license for AI I might try that.
You can speed up etching if you add a heat lamp to the ferric chloride - just warm it up a bit.Heating will also give off more fumes so adequate ventilation is a must.
Can I get the dwg or corel draw files?

What software did you use to design the manifold? Are the files available?
Couldn't fine Build2learn at GrabCAD.

Did you compare different materials to see which works the best e.g. mineral wool, yellow or pink building fiberglass, blue foam board from the construction trades?

I downloaded the pdf files without any problems. I would also be interested in the autocad files so I can scale them.
I get an error "server not found" when I try to download the files.
Do you have a parts list, drawings and schematic for the motor/controller?
