I have been working with art and designs. I like to improve my 3d printer and design accessoires for it. I 3d print it myself. Next to these designs, I make art and I tend to embed these with electronics in 3d printing in the near by future.
  • FS-Touch Bed Levelling Tool

    Hello, instead of using paper a4 I use a laser sheet for leveling the bed, the laser sheet can be used for hot beds. When put under the nozzle it moves the laser sheet with it over the bed, by moving the plastic laser sheet forward and backwards you can feel the friction on every position of the bed, notifying of the bed itself is level as well. The advantage of using a laser sheet compared to a4 paper is that it will not be torned apart. Also that you don't have to screw the knobs so much as the laser sheet stays under the nozzle. Some filament need a more closer nozzle to the bed than others. You can also turn the laser sheet under the nozzle to move the bed in an other direction. I use the lasersheet strip on glass bed, creality soft beds and Creality Coster glass bed with a grid.

  • I use a bmc pcb board to have an equal discharge over my lion cells, it also protects charging batteries in serie and undercharge. When I measure the voltage from time to time the batteries stay on an equal voltage. I also have a voltage meter over the batteries, which will tell if one of the cells is not connected or getting old. While using a bmc the cells are getting old in the same rate. I use standard containers and standard bmc boards, and solder the threads for the bmc board on the contacts of the containers. These bmc boards come for a certain number of cells, so it will be limited. Sometimes on the cells, it says it is being protected against overscharge and decharge. A warning is that the cells must be charged, before being put in the container and bmc pcb boards.

    My question is, why do you not leave the copper, which is not necessary for the traces on the pcb board itself. The cut is then surrounding the tracés. It is less messy and it takes less time. In kicad I make pcb board and I sent the pcb design to a Chinese pcb board maker. In Kicad there is in the menu in the pcb board making section a tool which creates isles of copper between the traces. Furthermore kicad can generate gerber files and layers can be stitched. Stitching the 2 layers should then be soldered by hand in case of using a cnc router.

  • I use kicad as well.Use edge cut layer and draw a line around your pcb save your pcb file. When you plot your kicad file confirm the edge.cutlayer in the left column.By default this edge cut layer is not marked.Now you have your outline of your pcb.You can see the edge cut layer with a seperate gerber extensionbeneath.A pcb manufacturar asks for outline of the pcb.You can also look this up in the kicad manual.

    Hello,Your method to make pcb's with layers looks to me becomes difficult.I shall tell you a few things how I make pcb board with double layersIt also excludes uv light, which I use to project my design on a positiv photo layer and develop it afterwards.Fort that I made uv lightbox with uv tl light. Next to that I made a vertical etching bath with a heat element attached to it. The heat element is controlled with a thermistor and the movement of the acid by an airpump also used for an aquarium pump.The whole etching bath is made out of glass fixed with silicone 90 degree angle profile.Another comment I want to make is to use open source kicad which is free to use, you can also use filled zones, so that you only do a minor etching. I see that with your method you ignored that.The least you…

I see that with your method you ignored that.The least you etch the less quicker your acid get saturated.With the above described method your etching fluid lasts longer.Furthermore you can then make a pcb with more layers, after converting the kicad files to gerber files and upload it to a cheap chinese pcb boardmaker for instance smart proto typing.I think these considerations in mind you can save a lot of work.By the way you can order pcb boards with a photo layer on it, if you want to skip the process to get the photo lacker on it or use stencils with a photo layer on it, which was seen in a previous pcb board making instructable.

    Mosfet regulation with a common lead battery charger.With a panel that shows the current.N channel mosfet being regulated with a frequeny between 2khz and 6khz, with a ne555 ic electronic scheme wll handle the current.Mosfet cooled with heatsink.Now you control the heat in the nichrome wire.

  • The pcb board of the power supply is not assembled, it is a dye kit.This means that the resistor value have to be derived from the color code. Some of the resistor values have been printed on the pcb, but many values not. The color code is not so bright that it can be read properly for instance purple and brown.In the pdf manual one does'n pay attention to this and neither in the you tube film.It is a pity one have skipped this.Now it is useless.
